Haitabu Viking Baggy TrousersThese loose cut trousers are based on early medieval finds and depictions from sites such as Hedeby (Haithabu), where fragments and artwork suggest the use of generously cut legwear gathered at the waist and lower leg. The cut is intentionally full through the upper leg, with the trouser segment on the lower leg being held in place with leg wraps (winingas). When worn this way, the trousers take on a distinctive, full above the knee, tapering below.
