It was created in the 1950s by a French engineer named Jean Louis Domecq for use in factories as a versatile work lamp that can be adjusted in various directions. The goal was to make it "simple, strong, and flexible to fit any work area." This lamp is a famous French industrial design. It has been re wired.

It has it all
It's exactly what it advertises and does everything I need it to. Enough space to fit my phone, readers, car keys, AirPods, wallet, and a little extra space for a small candle. I only wish the slot for the charging cable was a bit smaller sometimes the charging cable will slide out since there is nothing to catch it or secure it in place.
