Small, brownish to purple, sweetly fragrant flowers, bloom in spring and are followed by dark grey, encapsulated seeds. It is naturally globe shaped and a great alternative to Buxus. Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Golf Ball' can grow in various types of soil, but prefers fertile, moist, well drained soils.
