McLeansboro Miners Hoodie - Vintage Defunct Baseball TeamsMcLeansboro, Illinois, briefly hosted minor league baseball in the early 1900s. The McLeansboro Merchants played in the short lived Southern Illinois League in 1910 before it folded that July. That same year, the KITTY League placed a team in town called the Billikens, who won the second half title with a 4018 record. Renamed the Miners in 1911, the team soon relocated to Henderson, Kentucky, becoming the Henderson Hens since McLeansboro did not allow
