It has been finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are four dovetailed drawers, each with a bronze pull. The table is supported by four tapered legs. It smelled a bit “chemically” for the first few days. The smell did fade and eventually go away entirely. It also still slides off of my bed despite having the straps to hold it in place. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It’s extremely comfortable and adds a few extra inches to the height of my bed.
